"Education" implements a training program for all officials of assessment and examinations in schools of applied technology
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education, represented by the Applied Technology School Operation and Management Unit, organized a training program for all assessment and examination officials in all schools of applied technology, as part of a series of training programs implemented by the unit for all employees of applied technology schools.
Dr. Amr Basileh, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education and Director of the Applied Technology Schools Unit, said that this training comes as part of a series of trainings and workshops implemented by the Applied Technology Schools Operation and Management Unit for its employees. In order to maintain the scientific and skill level of teachers and administrators, and to explain the latest methods of teaching, evaluation, application of quality, and preparation of curricula that are used in various countries of the world, according to the techniques and foundations that are followed in schools of applied technology.
He added that the implemented training program for evaluation and exams aims to prepare evaluation and exam officials who are able to train teachers on evaluation work and procedures, and implement evaluation procedures regularly and correctly in accordance with the system's regulations, and extract results in the specified dates.
He pointed out that the main axes of this training are based on introducing all trainees to the system of applied technology schools in a more accurate manner, getting acquainted with the list of assessment and examinations for schools of applied technology, how to prepare question banks and tests, how to conduct correction and monitoring work, extract results and grievance work, as well as identifying Procedures for implementing formative and summative assessment during the academic year.
Basileh concluded, stressing the unit’s keenness to implement periodic training programs for all employees of applied technology schools in various fields, and the extent of the unit’s keenness to enhance the skills and expertise of teachers and administrators of applied technology schools; Because of their effective and influential role in maintaining the quality of the educational process in schools, and preparing students who are fully qualified to join the labor market upon their graduation.
