The Ministry of Education announces the dates for the first semester exams for transfer classes

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the organization of the dates for holding local exams for the first semester in official schools, official language schools, distinguished official schools, and private schools (Arabic/languages), in addition to the approved time map for the academic year 2024/2025.

The Ministry directed that all directorates, educational administrations, and schools must adhere to the following:

- Transfer exams for the first and second grades of general secondary school begin on 11/1/2025 and end on 16/1/2025, with the second grade general secondary school exams held in the first period, and the first grade general secondary school exams in the second period, and half an hour is allocated between the two periods as a time interval for students.

- Transfer exams for the first and second preparatory grades, as well as transfer exams for the primary stage for grades from third primary to sixth primary, will be held from 11/1 to 16/1/2025.

- Preparatory certificate exams will be held starting from 18/1/2025 and ending on 23/1/2025.

- Exams for advanced level subjects for official language schools, distinguished official schools, and private language schools, as well as subjects that are not added to the total score and practical subjects, will be held before the basic subjects exams are held.

- The first semester exam period is considered part of the actual study days and is counted within the attendance percentage stipulated by law.

- Following all the usual and organized procedures for the conduct of exams in all exam committees in accordance with the ministerial decisions and regulations governing exam work, while taking all measures to ensure the confidentiality of the exam.

The Ministry stressed the need to take into account not holding any exams on the days of the Christian brothers' holidays during the days (6, 7, 8, 19) of January 2025.
