The Minister of Education issues a decision regarding transfers to specific educational departments in the General Secondary Committees
Within the framework of the keenness of the state in general and the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in particular to establish the principle of equal opportunities among our students, especially those applying to take the examination for the completion of the general secondary school certificate, Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, issued a decision not to accept any transfers “official schools or In particular, to specific administrations in the governorates of Kafr El-Sheikh, Assiut, Sohag, Aswan and Qena.
The minister explained that no transfer requests will be accepted between the departments in the mentioned governorates until after being presented to the committee formed in the ministry’s general office headed by the head of the Central Administration of Secondary Education and the membership of a member of the General Administration of Legal Affairs and a member of the General Administration of Private Education, to review all transfer documents to decide whether to accept To transfer or not, and to take all legal measures against the one who caused the non-implementation of the instructions.
This came on the basis of the memorandum submitted by Dr. Reda Hegazy, Deputy Minister for Teachers’ Affairs, Vice President of the General Secondary Examinations for Administration, Order and Monitoring Committees, based on the many requests to transfer high school students from all over the Republic to take exams within the traffic committees of some educational departments. In large numbers and in violation of the prescribed school capacity.
This decision comes from the premise of considering the high school certificate as a general certificate to determine the future of our sons and daughters, with the aim of eliminating the prevailing belief that there is leniency in the supervision of examination work in the high school examination conduct committees in some educational administrations, which will result in serious harm due to the violation of the principle of equal opportunities between the students.
