The Minister of Education receives the UAE Ambassador to Egypt to discuss ways to enhance cooperation
Dr. Reda Hehazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, received HE Mariam Al Kaabi, the UAE Ambassador to Egypt, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in education.
At the beginning of the meeting, the minister welcomed the ambassador, stressing the depth, strength and interdependence of relations between Egypt and the sisterly United Arab Emirates, which reflects the importance of cooperation in education and the creation of new investment opportunities between the two countries.
The meeting touched upon discussing the role of the ministry in discovering talented people, as the minister explained that the state is interested in developing education, encouraging innovation, working to discover and nurture talented people in all academic subjects and school activities, and refining their skills in all disciplines.
For her part, Her Excellency Maryam Al Kaabi, the UAE Ambassador to Egypt, congratulated Dr. Reda Hegazy, on his assumption of the position of Minister of Education and Technical Education, noting his constant keenness to strengthen cooperation with the UAE in education, which reflects the understanding and harmony between the two brotherly countries.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Sherine Hamdi, Advisor to the Minister for Administrative Development and supervisor of the central administration for the affairs of the Minister's office, Dr. Akram Hassan, head of the Central Department for Curriculum Development, and from the Emirati side, Iman Al Hosani, the technical attaché of the attaché.
