Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, inspected the progress of the first semester exams for the 2023/2024 academic year for the first year of secondary school at the Golf Official Language School and the Khaled Bin Al-Walid Integrated School, affiliated with the Shorouk Educational Administration. This is within the framework of following up on the implementation of instructions, procedures and rules governing the examinations.

The Minister began his tour by inspecting the exams at the Golf Official Language School, where 165 male and female students in the first year of secondary school are taking the exams, and 154 male and female students in the second year of secondary school are taking the exams.

The Minister inspected a number of the school’s first year secondary school committees during the geography exam on the tablet, where he reassured the students of the level of the exam and the clarity of the questions. He was also reassured that there were no problems faced by the students while taking the exams via the tablet.

The Minister directed to put the student’s interest first in mind and quickly deal with any technical obstacles that students may face at the beginning or while taking exams on the tablet. He also directed to provide the appropriate climate within the committees, provide the needs of students, facilitate the performance of exams, and discipline the committees, with full compliance with all regulating ministerial instructions. For examination work; This is to preserve the interests of our students.

Dr. Reda Hegazy also reassured the safety of the technological infrastructure within the school, and the electronic correction and monitoring process, as the school’s technology specialist confirmed that it is being done as soon as possible, and the Minister directed that the results be announced immediately upon completion of the correction and review work.

The Minister also went to the Khaled Bin Al-Walid Integrated School, affiliated with the Al-Shorouk Educational Administration, where 135 male and female students in the first year of secondary school, and 106 students in the second year of secondary school, are taking exams.

Dr. Reda Hegazy inspected a number of committees during the second language exam (German/French) for the first year of secondary school and was reassured about the level of the exam and the clarity of the questions, as the students emphasized the clarity of the questions and the ease of the exam.

The Minister was also keen to inspect the home students’ committee for the first year of secondary school in the school, and was reassured about the level of the exam, and the extent to which the exam environment was facilitated for them in the school.

The Minister was accompanied during the tour by Professor Khaled Abdel Hakam, Head of the Central Administration for Directorate Affairs, Professor Ayman Moussa, Director of the Directorate of Education in Cairo, and Khaled Hamdan, Director General of the Shorouk Administration.
