Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting with the leaders of the Directorate of Education and the directors of educational departments in the New Valley Governorate, at the headquarters of the Directorate's General Office, in order to follow up on the progress of the educational process, to check on the conduct of technical diploma exams, and to review the procedures for end-of-year exams and final preparations. for matriculation examinations.
This came in the presence of Major General Muhammad Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, Dr. Hanan Magdy, Deputy Governor, Dr. Muhammad Megahed, Deputy Minister for Technical Education, Dr. Amr Basila, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education and Director of the Applied Technology Schools Operating Unit, Engineer Sayed Abdel Aziz Attia, Director of the Education Directorate in the governorate, and Eng. Completed Shawky, head of the Central Department of Design at the General Authority for Educational Buildings.
Dr. Reda Hegazy welcomed the attendees, stressing the importance of their role in developing the educational process system, and the discipline of conducting exam work in the governorate.
During the meeting, the minister reassured all the preparations and procedures of the Directorate for the year-end exams, stressing the need to discipline the conduct of exams, and not to allow any cases of fraud.
With regard to high school exams, the minister reassured the integrity of the preparation procedures for exams in the governorate, directing that disciplined exams be conducted. He also reviewed the strict procedures and controls to prevent fraud in committees, stressing the recycling of workers within departments in high school committees.
The minister also stressed the implementation of the instructions related to the heads of committees and observers, and the emphasis on maintenance and the provision of amenities within the committees.
Dr. Reda Hegazy also emphasized the availability of sufficient numbers of concept booklets for high school students during exams, and identifying those responsible for them. He also directed a review of the numbers of concept booklets that will be distributed during exams.
The minister directed that the third grade secondary students should perform the answers to the general secondary exams in the bubble sheet and the answer paper for the essay questions only, and not to consider any answer in the question booklet, as he will not count or acknowledge any answer in the question booklet, and only the bubble sheet and the answer paper for the essay questions will be corrected. In order for the Ministry to ensure that our third year secondary school students follow the correct methods of answering during exams, in a way that guarantees them the correct evaluation of their answers.
The minister also emphasized the continuation of implementing school support groups, while providing students with the opportunity to choose a subject teacher with the aim of improving the students’ academic level, for an appropriate fee aimed at reducing the burden on parents.
The minister also emphasized the interest in discovering talented and creative people to support the talented within the governorate and at the level of the Republic (technically, scientifically, culturally and athletically), in cooperation with the Ministries of Youth, Sports and Culture.
The minister also directed attention to school activities to reveal the artistic talents and skills of students in the governorate, and to prepare a theatrical show at the level of the directorate and the participation of students in the New Valley Governorate, reflecting the nature, climate and customs of the people of the governorate, in preparation for choosing the best play at the level of the educational directorates and honoring those in charge of it, stressing the importance of the school theater And his role in recreating the artistic spirit and developing it in schools
Dr. Reda Hegazy Nizam was briefed on the workflow of the preparatory certificate exams that took place during the last period, as the minister praised the examination system in the governorate.
The Minister also followed up the online revisions for high school certificate students, which are carried out in coordination with the educational departments, and the departments of technological development and computer, and this is out of concern for the interest of students, especially in remote and remote areas, and to relieve the parents of parents.
Dr. Reda Hegazy conducted an interactive dialogue with the students, via video conference technology, on a number of points related to how they benefited from these reviews, and the extent to which they understood the materials through the live broadcast.
