The Minister of Education conducts a surprise inspection tour of a number of schools in Beheira
As part of his continuous tours in various governorates, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, conducted a surprise tour this morning of Beheira Governorate to follow up on the regularity of the academic year 2024/2025, and the monthly exams for students of various transfer stages, as part of his follow-up to the discipline of the educational system within schools in all governorates of the Republic.
The Minister was accompanied during the tour by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Follow-up and Strategic Planning.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif began his visit at the "Manshiet Mahna Elementary School" affiliated with the Kom Hamada Education Administration, which has (491) male and female students in the morning period.
The Minister inspected the school's classrooms for the first grades, and was keen to follow up on the students' level and performance in reading. He also reviewed the homework and class notebooks, where he praised the role and interest of teachers in explaining the lessons and following up on the homework notebooks. The Minister directed to provide all the school's needs and requirements.
Following that, the Minister headed to the "New Tawfikia School for Basic Education" affiliated with the Itay El Baroud Education Administration, which includes (545) male and female students.
During the Minister's inspection of a number of primary and preparatory classes at the school, he was keen to review the class notebooks and homework, and follow up on the students' level in reading. He also followed up on the students' monthly tests.
The Minister directed the school principal to prepare treatment programs for weak readers and writers at the school and to follow up on the progress of students' performance. He also directed to send a committee to the school after two months to follow up on the implemented directives and measure the results of improving students' performance.
The Minister also visited "Kafr Musaed Primary School (B)" affiliated to the Itay El Baroud Education Administration, which includes 819 male and female students, where he inspected the kindergarten halls, primary classes, and was keen to follow up on the students' educational level and monthly tests.
Then the Minister headed to inspect "Al Shaheed Rafaei Shabl Preparatory School for Girls" affiliated to the Itay El Baroud Education Administration, which includes 688 female students, where he inspected the school's classes, and was keen to follow up on the teachers' performance inside the classes. The Minister also praised the performance of the fifth grade math teacher, given her role in explaining the subject and implementing the weekly evaluation mechanisms, which was reflected in the level of the students and their interest in homework notebooks and the class.
The Minister concluded his tour in Beheira Governorate by visiting "Shubra El Nouna Preparatory Secondary School" affiliated to the Itay El Baroud Education Administration, where the preparatory section includes 257 male and female students, and the secondary section includes 573 male and female students.
The Minister inspected the preparatory classes and followed up on the academic level of the male and female students. He also inspected the secondary classes at the school during the October exam in Arabic.
The Minister spoke with the students about the difficulties or problems they face in school and the extent to which they benefited from the weekly assessments. The students confirmed that conducting the assessments helped them achieve academic achievement in addition to studying the lessons first hand and preparing for the monthly exam.
During his tour of the governorate's various schools, the Minister was keen to follow up on the implementation of the ministerial decisions and instructions regarding the regularity and discipline of the academic year and to verify the density rate in the classes. He also praised the student attendance rates and the regularity of the educational process in these schools, directing the continuation of motivating students to attend school regularly.
During his tour, the Minister stressed the responsibility of teachers to follow up on school assignments, class notebooks, weekly assessments, and the implementation of the year's work decision. He also followed up on the mechanisms for activating the reinforcement groups in schools and the level of student turnout.
