At the beginning of her visit to Beheira Governorate, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Major General Hisham Amna, Minister of Local Development, accompanied by Dr. Nihal Balbaa, Deputy Governor of Beheira, visited the "Hands of Egypt" exhibition at the Damanhour Cultural Complex, which includes shows by handicraftsmen of "pottery, carpets." Handmade, handicrafts, wooden products, antiques, crochet, and other distinguished handcraft products, which reflect the authenticity and quality of the Egyptian product.

Dr. Reda Hegazy was accompanied during the visit by Dr. Mohamed Megahed, Deputy Minister for Technical Education, and Dr. Ahmed El-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Directorate Affairs.

The two ministers also watched the presentations on the “Egypt Hands” platform to revive traditional and handicrafts and market their products that characterize the governorate via the Internet through the “Egypt Hands” platform.

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education, praised the distinguished level of the offered products, pointing out that they are the nucleus for launching small and micro projects that create job opportunities for young people and open new horizons for marketing their products.

After that, the two ministers inaugurated the 100 Million Trees initiative in Beheira, by planting a number of trees on the Damanhour Corniche, and they also inspected the line-up of tree cars for the Damanhour Cultural Complex, where it is intended to plant 354,000 trees in Beheira Governorate, as part of an expanded afforestation campaign on both sides of the highways in the governorate. .

The two ministers also inspected the “Welcome Ramadan” exhibition for discounted food and Ramadan commodities held in Damanhour, which was organized by the Beheira Governorate in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce at the Damanhour Fairgrounds.
