The Minister of Education visits Alexandria Governorate to follow up on the regularity of the new academic year 2023/2024.

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, visited Alexandria Governorate on Tuesday morning. To follow up on the regularity of the new academic year 2023/2024.

Upon his arrival, the minister was received by the governorate’s general office, Major General Muhammad al-Sharif, governor of Alexandria, and Dr. Arabi Abu Zeid, director of the governorate’s education directorate.

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, inspected the Mustafa Al-Najjar Distinguished Official Language School for Girls, affiliated with the East Alexandria Educational Administration.

The Minister and the Governor inspected a number of school classrooms, and during the English language class for the second year of secondary school, the Minister interviewed the students about their benefit from this subject, and the Minister directed attention to teaching languages and empowering them in them, in addition to communication skills.

They also inspected one of the second grade middle school classrooms during the Arabic language class, and the minister discussed the lesson with the students, stressing that the ministry is keen to prepare a generation of students capable of understanding, not memorizing and memorizing.

The Minister confirmed that the Ministry had prepared educational and training books containing explanations, questions, tests, and links to educational videos, noting that they were uploaded to the Ministry’s website for free, in addition to downloading question banks on the Ministry’s website as reference materials, within the framework of the project launched by the Ministry, “Assessment for Learning.” "; To refine the student and diversify the methods of obtaining scientific information, the Minister directed the students to benefit from this content. To achieve multiple learning sources besides the school.

The Minister and Governor also watched a national sports show for primary school students, and praised the students’ performance. He also saluted the physical education teachers for their excellent training.

The Minister and Governor were keen to inspect one of the fourth grade classrooms during the Arabic language class, listen to the students’ opinions and the information they gained from the lesson, and train them in expression and communication.
