Today, Thursday, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, continued his tours to follow up on the regularity of the general secondary certificate exams, the first round for the academic year 2022/2023, where the minister visited Alexandria Governorate today to follow up on the regularity of the examinations in the various committees of the governorate, and he was in his reception upon his arrival. The governorate's general office, Major General Muhammad al-Sharif, the governor of Alexandria, and Dr. Arabi Abu Zaid, the governorate's Directorate of Education.

At the beginning of the visit, Dr. Reda Hijazi was keen to communicate with the central operations room via video conference technology at the headquarters of the Directorate of Education in the governorate, to follow up on the course of exams for the first foreign language subject, in all governorates, and to ensure that the questions reached all the headquarters of the examination committees at the level of the Republic.

The minister also reassured the implementation of the instructions for distributing the answer sheets of the Babylon sheet and the answer paper for the essay questions 10 minutes before the start of the exam, and opening the doors of the committees from eight and a quarter in the morning, to implement the inspection procedures for students accurately before entering the committees. on the question paper in the committee.

The minister also stressed the importance of continuous review of the operation of surveillance cameras in the committees in the various governorates of the Republic, stressing that any electronic fraud carried out by the student, or participated in facilitating by the committee observer, should be referred to the investigation, transferred to the Public Prosecution, and the implementation of Ministerial Resolution No. (34) of 2018 regarding Regulating the conditions for exam cancellation and denial thereof, and Law No. (205) of 2020 regarding combating acts of breaching exams.

For his part, Major General Muhammad al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, welcomed Dr. Reda Hegazy during his visit to the governorate, expressing his sincere appreciation to Dr. Reda Hegazy and all those working in the examination system for their great efforts to ensure the regularity of the exams.

It is worth noting that the total number of students who take first-round exams in Alexandria governorate is 57,332 students, including 23,437 students in the literary section, 21,708 students in the scientific section of science, and 9,898 students in the scientific section of mathematics through 148 traffic committees at the governorate level.
