In his first field visit of the second semester, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, conducted a surprise inspection tour of several schools in Beheira Governorate to monitor the regularity of the educational process and assess performance and discipline levels within the schools. This visit reflects the Ministry's commitment to intensifying continuous field monitoring of schools across the country.

The Minister was accompanied on his tour by Dr. Ahmed El-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up, and Supervisor of the Central Administration for the Minister's Office.

The Minister's tour began with a visit to Wadi El-Natroun Co-educational Secondary School, affiliated with the Wadi El-Natroun Educational Administration, which has 900 students. The Minister made a point of attending the morning assembly and listening to the school radio broadcast.

The Minister then toured several classrooms, observing the smooth running of classes, student density, and classroom discipline. He also reviewed attendance records, weekly assessments, and ensured the implementation of the curriculum.

During his visit, the Minister engaged in an open dialogue with students about the curriculum. He emphasized the importance of studying programming and artificial intelligence, stressing the Ministry's commitment to developing students' digital skills, given their crucial role in preparing a generation capable of meeting the demands of the digital age and the future job market.

The Minister also inquired about the number of students who successfully completed the programming and artificial intelligence course during the first semester. He noted that passing this course qualifies students for an internationally recognized programming certification, enhancing their competitiveness and preparing them for careers in advanced online technology fields.

Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif then visited Wadi El Natroun Primary School, which has 1,625 students. He focused on monitoring student and teacher attendance, students' literacy levels, the distribution of textbooks, and the number of high-achieving students who passed the first-round exams. He emphasized that good and disciplined administration directly impacts students' comprehension of the curriculum and their academic success.

Following this, the Minister visited Wadi El Natroun Preparatory School for Boys, which has 894 students. He reviewed the students' academic progress, the distribution of textbooks, and the number of students who failed the first-round exams. He stressed the importance of maintaining strict discipline within the school and establishing monitoring committees to ensure adherence to educational regulations and weekly assessments.

The Minister then visited Badr Secondary School for Boys, affiliated with the Tahrir Educational Administration, which has 641 students. He engaged in a dialogue with first-year secondary students about their experience studying programming, inquiring about their understanding of the material, the ease of the exam, and the importance of obtaining a programming certificate. The discussion also covered the teaching methods employed and their potential application in other subjects, including mathematics.

The dialogue touched upon how to utilize this knowledge in higher grades, alongside the core subjects studied in the second year of secondary school, and its impact on their academic and professional lives. The Minister emphasized the importance of programming as a life skill that supports building a more conscious and stable future.

At the end of his tour, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif visited Badr Secondary School for Girls, also affiliated with the Tahrir Educational Administration, which has 871 students. He spoke with the students about their first-semester exam results, stressing that the student's future is the cornerstone of educational development. He affirmed that the state spares no effort in supporting and providing outstanding educational opportunities that empower students to build a better future.
