"Education" announces the opening of the door for teachers and administrators to apply to join the Wee Schools of Applied Technology

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the opening of the door for teachers and administrators to apply to join the work team of Wee Schools of Applied Technology and some other applied technology schools in various governorates of the Republic, during the period from August 30, 2021 to September 10, 2021, through the official website of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education http: //tawzef.emis.gov.eg
For his part, Dr. Muhammad Mujahid, Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education Affairs, stressed the efforts made by the ministry towards expanding and increasing the number of applied technology schools in various governorates of the Republic, to provide more opportunities for students and teachers to enroll in them, referring to the ministry’s plan to increase the number of technology schools. To become 100 applied technology schools by 2030, in line with the Egyptian state’s vision 2030.
Megahed explained that the applied technology schools, which now number 26 schools in 10 different governorates (Cairo, Alexandria, Giza, Suez, Minya, Dakahlia, Port Said, Sharkia, Menoufia, Qalyubia), include many specializations needed by the labor market, which are applied for the first time. In Egypt, such as animal and poultry production technology, agricultural and irrigation technology, jewelry and industrial technology, artificial intelligence, and digital arts, in addition to the specialization of maintenance and repair of cars, electronic systems, information technology systems and networks, operation and maintenance of energy equipment, and others.
In a related context, Dr. Amr Basileh, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education, and Director of the Operation and Management Unit for Applied Technology Schools, said that the teacher is one of the mainstays of the applied technology schools system, and therefore a lot of attention is paid to him by providing many advantages for teachers and administrators of schools Applied technology such as high-level technical training, material and moral incentives, in addition to providing opportunities to obtain many practical experiences that contribute to obtaining a distinguished scientific center.
Basileh indicated that it is important for all applicants to familiarize themselves with the file related to the conditions of application, to specify the job to which they are applying, and to read its conditions accurately. Based on the results of these interviews, applicants for admission to each school will be identified, and they will be supported and trained on the nature of the curricula applied in schools of applied technology, how to teach it and how students are evaluated by accredited experts.
