The Minister of Education witnesses the accreditation ceremony for the second batch of Tokkatsu trainers in cooperation with JICA

Today, Sunday, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, witnessed the ceremony of handing over certificates to the second batch of the approved team for the implementation of Japanese tokatsu activities in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
At the beginning of his speech, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, expressed his happiness at participating in the graduation of a new batch of tokkatsu trainers after they have been accredited, pointing out that under the "Egyptian-Japanese Partnership in Education" agreement, to benefit from Japan's successful experience in general and technical education, Supporting the national project to develop education and improve the school environment with the aim of sound socialization of the Egyptian child, which increases his passion for science, order and cleanliness, and increases his self-confidence and teamwork, which represents a quantum leap in the ministry's strategy for the development of education.
The minister said: "It is an effort by the Ministry to make this experiment a success, to preserve the identity and philosophy of Japanese education, and to ensure the implementation of the Tokatsu philosophy as it is practiced in Japan and the importance of sustainable development of human resources, and to preserve the basic Tokatsu philosophy, the need arose to find a mechanism to implement and implement activities in its concept correct for those in charge of it through the training of trainers and teachers."
The minister added that it was agreed with JICA to implement a program to accredit Tokatsu trainers and grant them accreditation certificates, through a joint committee comprising Japanese experts in Egypt and Japan, members of Japanese school supervisors and professional Egyptian experts, in order to ensure sustainability.
Dr. Reda indicated that the first accredited group of Egyptian tokkatsu trainers graduated in December 2021 with (9) trainers, who were accredited by Japanese experts from JICA.
The minister expressed his aspiration that the Egyptian-Japanese school experience would enjoy more cooperation, noting that the ministry aims to expand these schools further during the coming period, to become a pioneering experience in bringing about a quantum leap in the development of education in Egypt, according to the latest international educational systems.
The minister congratulated the graduates of the second batch of the training program for the accreditation of tokkatsu trainers, who numbered 13, saying: "Egypt expects a lot from you, and we are with you, and we offer you all support, to help you fulfill your mission."
In her speech, Ms. Emoto Sachiko, First Vice President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), expressed her happiness to participate for the second time in attending the ceremony of handing over the accreditation certificates for this year, congratulating the thirteen officials of the accredited tokatsu for this time.
She indicated that in the celebration ceremony for the past 2021, she mentioned that obtaining accreditation is evidence that the accredited tokatsu officials are the pioneers of tokatsu in Egypt, hoping that they will play an active role as experts to spread tokatsu throughout Egypt.
She explained that since the previous celebration ceremony, the situation of tokatsu has changed in Egypt, where preliminary trainings for tokatsu were held, targeting 30,000 education-related mentors, teachers and school principals, over a period of three months since last July 2022, to implement tokatsu practices in eighteen thousand public schools in all All over Egypt, confirming that it was the tokkatsu officials who delivered the lectures, and that the accredited tokkatsu officials played a pivotal role in these trainings.
“I believe that the implementation of such training on a large scale was possible thanks to the strong leadership of the Ministry of Education and the efforts made by authorized tokatsu officials,” Ms. Emoto said, adding that through nationwide training, tokatsu will be implemented and practiced in government schools other than Egyptian schools. Japanese, but it is important to continuously support school principals and teachers, which will increase the role of certified trainers to grow and expand.
She stressed that JICA intends to continue cooperation to improve the quality of education in Egypt, and to continue its cooperation in particular through the practice of tokatsu, and to continue and move forward with projects through the educational partnership supported and urged by both the Japanese and Egyptian governments.
For her part, Ms. Nevin Hamouda, Advisor to the Minister for Strategic Relations and Supervisor of Egyptian-Japanese Schools, expressed her pleasure at the graduation of the second batch of Tokatsu trainers in cooperation with JICA, which expresses the preservation of the original identity of Tokatsu thought and philosophy for a balanced development of the child's social, emotional, physical and academic aspects.
At the end of the ceremony, the Minister and Mrs. Imoto honored the team approved for the implementation of Japanese tokatsu activities, namely Dr. Yasser Massad Ahmed Awadallah, Professor Hanan Samir Abdel Razek, Professor Amani Abdel Nabi Ibrahim, Dr. Hassan Mohamed Abdel Hadi Ibrahim, Professor Maha El Sayed Jaba, and Professor Heba Abdel Moneim Ahmed, Ms. Hoda El-Sayed Salama, Mr. Ibrahim El-Feki, Dr. Atef Abdel-Moneim Kamal, Ms. Hanan Mohamed Ibrahim, Ms. Samira Mahmoud Badran, Mr. Kamal El-Sayed Lotfi and Dr. Hossam Mohamed Abdel-Raouf.
