The Minister of Education follows up on the regularity of the educational process with surprise tours
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, today conducted a surprise inspection tour of a number of schools in Giza Governorate; To follow up on the educational system therein, which included 4 schools.
The Minister was accompanied during his tour by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up, as part of the continuous tours in various governorates of the Republic; To stand on the extent of implementation of instructions and adherence to decisions regulating the educational process.
The Minister began his inspection tour by visiting "Mohamed Karim Elementary School" in the South Giza Education Administration, which includes 1,240 male and female students, where he was briefed on the nature of the student density in the school, and directed the formation of committees from technical education to maintain the desks and student seats, in addition to follow-up committees to ensure compliance with the instructions related to the regularity and discipline of the educational process within the school.
During his inspection of the fifth grade primary classes, the Minister was keen to learn about the students' reading level of the lessons, and to review the class and homework notebooks. He also inspected a number of laboratories and the activities room.
In this regard, the Minister stressed the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the classrooms, the regularity of teachers and students, and activating the school discipline regulations.
In a humanitarian gesture, the Minister directed the allocation of a worker to accompany the student Gamal Mohamed Gamal, a special needs student in the fifth grade of primary school, from home to school due to the difficulty of his daily transportation, which caused difficulty in going to school daily and his frequent absence. He also recommended following up on his studies to ensure the improvement of his academic performance.
The Minister then headed to "Al-Shorfa Primary School" in the South Giza Administration, which includes 1,414 male and female students, where he followed up on the weekly evaluation performance of sixth grade primary school students, class and homework notebooks, and absence rates, directing emphasis on following up on the students' evaluation process to raise their performance and academic level.
The Minister also directed the follow-up committees to ensure the smooth running of the educational process at the school and the attendance rates, as well as adherence to the educational incentive and school discipline regulations.
Following that, the Minister inspected the "Amir Al-Shu'ara Official Languages" School in the South Giza Administration, which includes 1,174 male and female students in the primary education stage, and 230 male and female students in kindergarten. During the inspection, he was keen to ensure that there was no shortage in the number of teachers, as well as to activate weekly evaluation classes for some subjects, in addition to following up on the class notebooks and assignments for students. He also discussed with first-year middle school students the extent of their comprehension of the lessons, and he also directed the rapid implementation of simple and urgent maintenance of the school.
The Minister continued his tour by inspecting the "Hoda Shaarawy Girls' Preparatory School" affiliated with the Omrania Education Administration, which includes 2,670 female students, and during which he was keen to follow up on the class notebooks, assignments and weekly assessments in a number of subjects, and to reassure the students' academic level.
The Minister confirmed that he will continue his intensive tours of various schools across the country throughout the academic year to monitor the regularity of the educational process.
