The Minister of Education and Technical Education honors the winners of the workshop competition on synthetic biology
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education, in cooperation with the leadership of the People’s Defense Forces and the Military and the Medical College of the Armed Forces, organized a celebration to honor the winners of the workshop competition on synthetic biology at the General Diwan of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, in the presence of a number of leaders of the armed forces and leaders of the Ministry of Education.
Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education gave a speech in which he expressed his happiness on this occasion, and pointed out that the celebration is one of the fruits of close cooperation and constructive and continuous interaction with the armed forces represented by the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces and the Faculty of Medicine of the Armed Forces, which contributed to the success of the workshop. On synthetic biology, which was held at the Faculty of Medicine in the Armed Forces, with the participation of a group of students with a number of direct and serious scientific research, a number of which achieved advanced positions at the level of all participating research.
The Minister of Education and Technical Education indicated that cooperation with the armed forces led to the transformation of (100) technical schools and (118) general secondary schools into technical and military secondary schools characterized by the quality of technical education and discipline to build the student’s personality, noting that communication and coordination between state institutions reflects what The state possesses innovative and creative minds, capable of appearing at an outstanding and honorable level. We extend our thanks and appreciation to those responsible for implementing this event, its participants, parents and students.
While the Commander of the People’s and Military Defense Forces delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Lieutenant-General Muhammad Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Lieutenant-General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, expressing his happiness at being in this ancient scientific edifice among distinguished students from Egypt’s vanguards. Creative people with their help write a promising future for this country.
For his part, the Deputy Director of the Armed Forces College of Medicine, in his speech, thanked the Minister of Education, pointing out that the Armed Forces College of Medicine organized the competition as an educational means aimed at raising the foundations and standards of scientific research to create a generation of researchers who possess the correct scientific thinking in a way that contributes to serving the country in various fields.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, honored the winning male and female students and the workshop participants.
