The Minister of Education and the Governor of North Sinai hold an expanded meeting with the leaders
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and the Governor of North Sinai held an expanded meeting with the leaders of the Education Directorate and a number of teachers in the governorate and directors of educational departments and a number of students at the International Youth City in Arish; This is within the framework of the ongoing efforts to develop and maintain the quality of the educational process in the governorate.
This was attended by Major General Asem Saadoun, Deputy Governor, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up, Professor Hamza Radwan, Director of the Education Directorate in the governorate, and leaders of the Education Directorate in the governorate.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif thanked the Governor of North Sinai and the people of the governorate for the warm reception, stressing that North Sinai Governorate has a great place in our hearts and in the heart of every Egyptian citizen.
The Minister said: "We are honored to be in North Sinai Governorate today. When I entered the governorate, I felt value and awe, as we hear about the heroism of the people of Sinai since childhood in the 73 war and before it until now, and throughout history, the people of North Sinai have been heroes and their heroism is countless."
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif also thanked and appreciated the teachers of North Sinai for the great efforts made to advance the educational process in the governorate, which the ministry is constantly following up on, noting that the credit for addressing the chronic challenges of education goes to Egypt's teachers and their distinguished ideas that they presented as a result of their long experience in this field, and these efforts resulted in the return of students to schools and the progress of the educational process in a good way.
The Minister pointed to the great interest that the political leadership pays to developing education and building the Egyptian person, stressing that the main goal is to work on building Egypt's future by providing good education in schools, noting that there is an unprecedented renaissance in education in light of the solidarity and cooperation of all state institutions, as a large number of schools have been built and equipped during the past ten years, which is shown by the numbers and basic determinants.
The Minister also noted the distinguished educational models, including the Egyptian-Japanese schools model, which provide good education and are equipped with the latest equipment, in addition to the latest display screens in the world, as well as secondary schools equipped with very modern electronic screens, in addition to the development of curricula that is carried out according to in-depth and accurate studies, including the programming curriculum for the secondary stage.
In his speech, Major General Dr. Khaled Megawer, Governor of North Sinai, welcomed the attendees, expressing his happiness with the visit of the Minister of Education today, which is an important step to support the educational process and enhance efforts aimed at developing North Sinai Governorate.
The Governor appreciated the role of the basic state agencies, the private sector and community work in line with the state's plan to support the educational process in the border governorates, and stressed that the educational process in schools is carried out through all parties and community work by involving citizens and parents in solving problems and taking into account the social circumstances of families.
The Governor of North Sinai reviewed the difficulties that the governorate went through during the wars and the war on terrorism during the past ten years, and how Egypt was able to overcome it in a short period, noting that countries are not measured by their economic capabilities, but by the circumstances and events they go through, which created the strong Egyptian fabric in addition to the tribal nature of the governorate, and how the governorate regained its regional position in the Middle East.
He added that the state is working with all its agencies and in cooperation with civil society institutions to provide all services to the people of North Sinai Governorate, praising the fruitful cooperation between the governorate and the Ministry of Education, which contributed to strengthening the educational infrastructure and providing the necessary resources for schools, expressing his deep thanks to the Minister of Education for his continuous efforts in supporting the educational process in the governorate. The governor also praised the tangible development witnessed by schools as a result of these efforts.
In his speech, Bakr Sweilem, Executive Director of Al-Joura Association, welcomed the attendees, stressing that education is one of the most important issues that the state pays special attention to, especially in North Sinai Governorate, as it is one of the border governorates and the eastern gateway to Egypt, and it is always the gateway to challenge tests throughout time and history for the Egyptian state through the cohesion of the army, police and the people of Sinai. The meeting witnessed the presentation of an artistic segment by students of Arish schools, and the screening of a documentary film about the state's role in combating terrorism, in addition to the efforts made to advance the educational process in the governorate in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
