Ministers of Youth, Education and Culture discuss mechanisms of joint tripartite cooperation
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, met in the Ministry’s building in the New Administrative Capital, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, to discuss mechanisms for joint tripartite cooperation during the coming period, and to unify efforts in joint projects and activities.
The meeting dealt with the mechanisms for developing school leagues, similar to the youth centers league, the book fair volunteering program, art centers in universities, educational convoys, and the School Students Union, as well as launching a package of joint initiatives that are being implemented within youth centers, schools and cultural palaces, and mechanisms for benefiting from The talent and youth project to discover talents in schools, in addition to developing talent development centers in provincial capitals, and launching a school league competition to discover talents in music, singing, acting, rhetoric, poetry and plastic arts.
The meeting also dealt with mechanisms to support and develop the School Sports Federation similar to the Sports Federation of Universities, the school theater restoration project, the school creativity project, cinema clubs in youth centers, hosting school students to camp inside the camps of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the governorates, implementing cultural, artistic and sports activities within them, and forming a joint working group. of the three ministries to maximize the utilization of their capabilities and unify efforts in joint projects and activities.
The Minister of Youth and Sports, Ali, emphasized that young people had the largest share of the support and care of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi from the first moments of assuming responsibility for the country and always put them at the forefront of the ranks, and their issues, needs and requirements topped the national action agenda, and thanks to that care and this support, they became one of the most important targets of comprehensive development programs. in the Egyptian state.
Sobhi pointed out that the strategy of the Ministry of Youth and Sports aims to build a generation of young men and women who belong to the homeland and achieve leadership, and enable them to participate in public life through programs that carry out the task of daily awareness, human building and spreading the spirit of loyalty and belonging, in addition to building the capabilities of youth, caring for the talented among them, and investing time Young people and young people, unloading their positive energies and giving them the opportunity to practice sports, and spreading sports culture, pointing out that efforts to raise awareness aim to support and unite all institutions.
For his part, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, appreciated the cooperation with the Ministries of Youth, Sports and Culture to work on discovering the gifted, stressing the Ministry's interest in the talented, caring for them and developing their various skills.
Hijazi indicated that the ministry is interested in identifying creative students in all sports, artistic and cultural fields, stressing the importance of investing in the human element. In implementation of the directives of the political leadership, the Ministry seeks to take care of school activities of all kinds and develop them.
For her part, Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, praised the fruitful cooperation between the three ministries in a number of fields, stressing that it was agreed on a set of points regarding cooperation between the three ministries in the various fields of artistic and cultural activity in schools and youth centers for children and youth, especially in areas where there are It has cultural palaces, so that it is prepared to receive school theater performances for neighboring schools, with the help of specialists from academics and theater experts in the Ministry of Culture to train those in charge of the school theater, pointing out that cooperation will extend to youth centers that will host confrontation and roaming theater performances in villages and hamlets.
And the Minister of Culture added that with the beginning of the second term of the academic year, work will be done on the school “dramatization of curricula” project to present it in an interesting format that simplifies information for our students and supports their academic achievement, noting that the day of cultural activities in schools will reach important areas of the land of Egypt, to spread the arts, And discover talents, and support the state's efforts to confront extremist ideas.
