The Minister of Education follows up on the regularity of the educational process
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, conducted this morning a surprise inspection tour of three schools affiliated with the North Giza Education Administration in Giza Governorate, two schools affiliated with the Sahel Education Administration, and a school affiliated with the Al-Zawiya Al-Hamra Administration in Cairo Governorate, as part of the Minister's continuous field tours in various governorates of the Republic, to ensure the regularity of the educational process.
The Minister was accompanied during his tour by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif began his tour by visiting schools affiliated with the North Giza Education Administration in Giza Governorate, where he inspected the "Ahmed Orabi Basic Education School", which includes 1,890 male and female students, and includes in the morning period kindergarten students and the first, second and third grades of primary school, and in the evening period students in the fourth, fifth and sixth grades of primary school and female students in the preparatory stage.
During his inspection of the school's classrooms, the Minister was keen to follow up on the students' level in reading, writing and mathematics, and the extent of students' commitment to class notebooks and school assignments, as well as ensuring adherence to preparation, attendance and absence notebooks.
Following that, the Minister of Education inspected the "Othman bin Affan Primary School", which includes 1,450 male and female students, and was keen to follow up on the students' attendance rates, and their grades' recording notebooks in the weekly assessments; to ensure the students' level of academic achievement, in addition to the positive interaction with teachers in the classrooms;
The Minister also met with a number of teachers at the school and listened to their opinions on the current control of the educational system, and their observations about any obstacles that hinder their work.
At the end of his tour of the school, the Minister directed the formation of daily follow-up committees for the school and the organization of remedial programs to improve reading, writing and mathematics skills.
The Minister then headed to inspect the "Imbaba Ismailia Preparatory School for Boys", which includes 862 students, where he reviewed the students' attendance rates, their academic achievement level, and reviewed the class notebooks and school assignments, comparing them with the grade book for the year's work, directing the formation of follow-up committees to control the performance of the educational process at the school, and the students' attendance rates.
The Minister also visited schools affiliated with the Sahel Education Administration in Cairo Governorate, where he inspected the "Sahel Elementary" School, which includes 925 male and female students. During his inspection of the classrooms, he was keen to follow up on the students' notebooks for the class and homework, and the teachers' notebooks for preparation, and to ensure that the rates of absence and attendance, the weekly evaluation notebooks and the grades of the year's work were recorded. The Minister held a parental dialogue with the students about their academic comprehension and their future aspirations.
The Minister praised the level of the school's students, the efforts of the school principal in maintaining order, cleanliness and the level of the students, as well as one of the distinguished teachers at the school, which had the greatest positive impact on the students' academic level, also directing to provide the school's needs for disks.
The Minister also inspected the "Farid Abu Hadid Preparatory School for Boys", which includes 1,138 students, where he followed up on the students' commitment to attendance rates and their level in the evaluations, directing the formation of follow-up committees and the preparation of weekly reports on the regularity of the educational process in the school and the weekly evaluations.
The Minister concluded his tour by inspecting Al Yarmouk Elementary School, affiliated with the Al Zawiya Al Hamra Educational Administration, which includes 1117 male and female students in the primary education stage, where he was keen to follow up on the class notebooks, school assignments, weekly evaluations, and the level of academic achievement of the students.
